asus a8n vm csm machine check exception

ASUS A8N-VM CSM - MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION

Hi all,
I am having troubles installing Vista Beta 2 on my system. It fails with a BSOD with the error MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION.
My system is as follows: AMD 64 3200 ASUS A8N-VM o/b video Nvidia 6150 1 g ram (128mb for o/b video) SB Audigy 2
Any help would be appreciated.

hi,
i
saw this error on a winxp, and it was caused by faulty memory. -- Please rate this! Best Regards Laszlo Dobos

oh sry, perhaps it's an irq problem, so you have too many things set to the same irq, and unfortunately as far as i know, if you use advanced power managment then you cant change the irq becasue acpi sets it automaticaly

I'll try disabling ACPI, and see what happens. I don't think it's memory because a) XP works fine, and b) I ran a test on my memory and no issues turned up.
